By Ashley Thekiso @AshOfCeremonies [Program Director/MC, Entrepreneur & Freelance Writer] Dear fellow hustler: If you have not fallen, you have not tried to climb. It is amazing how many of us think it is easy to get to the top, it is no wonder we give up when the going gets tough. I am here to tell you it is not easy to do anything worth doing. When on a mission one has to put everything into making that mission a success. By putting everything into your mission I mean really going head first, I mean giving up the chilling mentality, I mean swapping your downtime for intense working hours. It takes a lot out of you, infact you will feel like the world is unfair on you at some point but just remember why you started in the first place when you feel down. You see my fellow hustler; getting back up after humiliation and failure takes quite a lot of courage, will power and determination. We all have a reason for why we do what we do, look to that reason for inspiration, look at why you began on the journey you are on. Who are you in the hustle for? What do you wish to gain out of it? What do you have to offer the world? Why do you think you deserve all the success you envision for yourself? Get in the right state of mind; control your thoughts and ensure that every thought is a positive one. Keep at the hustle and make it a must to not leave the office without a solution to your problems. Be a ‘no matter what’ type of hustler. Be Professional dear friend. Envision yourself at the position you wish to see yourself in the next 5 years. Yes you may have fallen but so has every successful person in the 21 century; the only differentiator is that they did not remain on the floor. There are too many names to mention so I will just mention one; Donald Trump. Mr Trump lost millions of dollars, got into some serious debt of $200M+ and then turned his situation around to be a billionaire. Even though your situations may differ from the example above; you are more than possible of getting back to the entrepreneurial world if you believe. Get back to that class room/office and start finding solutions to your problems with your head held high; keep your chin up and do not show your weaknesses to the world. Make it a point that you ask the right questions and you will certainly get the right answers. Take a look at how babies learning to walk fall all the time and keep getting up without it being an issue. You see it is not supposed to be easy; you are supposed to be stronger by the fall so that when the success comes you are more than ready for it. Stop mopping and whining whilst your peers are doing something out there; YOU ARE NOT YOUR PAST FAILURES. It is up to us to oil up the economic engine of South Africa, let’s pay our dues in this game so that when we finally make it; it is worth it. We have been given this freedom by those who came before us; the least we can do is prove that we deserve it.                   Existence is given; Life is a choice – Ashley Thekiso
