I am going to start by saying how beautiful the mix of culture in South Africa is; pity how most South African do not cherish that and use it as business opportunities and a way to empower one self. I have always said to the people around me that it does not take much to fail or not be enthusiastic about this life thing; it’s as easy as doing nothing about your life. Too many of us preach things that we do not do and way too many of us do things that we do not talk of. Whatever happened to honesty and integrity? Today I would like to talk about the pain that we all have to go through to get to where we are going.   You see; my dearest hustlers, I am not one who is impressed by people who do good things but I sure as hell am impressed by the peeps that do awesome incredible things that leave me shocked. Too many people live comfortably in their failure because they do not want to go through the struggles and pain it takes to get to their respective successes. If success was an easy task than every single Thabo, Pieter and Jabu would take it on but it is not. It may not take you slaving to get there but I promise you it will happen at the point where you feel like giving it all up. The universe will test you countless times to ensure you are ready to handle the success when it comes your way.   The pain one goes through to get to success is the type of pain necessary for success; it rarely comes in its most literal form but mostly comes in emotional frustration that could leave you in a very depressed state. But what are you willing to give to get to a point in your life where everything is easier and you are happy about your situation; a point in your life where you see your problems as challenges, a point in your life where you smile at enemies as if you don’t know the problems they bring. Life gets very interesting when one is on a mission and nothing else matters but to complete this mission. It is not that there is no pain when you see those who have a vision always in a good mood and spotting a smile all day everyday but its because their hustle is a bigger priority than the pain it takes to get there.   There will be obstacles yes but those same obstacles that everyone has to go through to get to success will only disrupt your journey if you are not solemnly focused on your hustle. The answer is not to ignore the pain or not feel it but to feel the pain and still keep going because your hustle is more important than some pain. If there was no pain you wouldn’t have much of a story to tell your grand kids *giggles*. I shall end by saying let’s all get on our hustle horses and ride until we do not have to introduce ourselves anymore!!!

It is up to us to oil up the economic engine of South Africa, let’s pay our dues in this game so that when we finally make it; it is worth it. We have been given this freedom by those who came before us; the least we                                     can do is prove that we deserve it.                                                   Existence is given; Life is a choice – Ashley Thekiso
