Manchester United Legends Charity match
Manchester United Legends gave us a taste of they old self as they defeated Bayern Munich All-Stars 4-2 in front of a crowd of 50,128 at Old Trafford on another fabulous day for the club's Foundation to raise charity. A fun family day for most was capped with a brilliant day out to watch former Manchester United and Bayern Munich take each other on, in what was an entertaining game of football. All three of United's starting forwards - Louis Saha, Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole - scored in the opening half as the Reds led 3-2 at the interval following a 45 minutes packed with goalmouth action. In what was talk of the day was the brilliance in the way Paul Scholes scored his goal help us remember why he was so important to Manchester United success over the years. What was impressive was watching South Africa's very own Quinton Fortune play so well he looked 22 out there the passing the running reminds us of why he had a successful career. It was a great game and we look forward forward to next years game hoping this time it will include the likes of Ryan Giggs and David Beckham.
