By Makhalanyane Matshidiso The University is still in shock and a sudden death of a 21 year old student who just obtained her degree. This was supposed to be a time where she and her family celebrate endlessly but instead the family is devastated. Sizakele Mbese, originally from Lenasia in Gauteng died after being involved in a tragic car accident in Wynand Montoun Drive, Langenhovenpark, at 23:00 on Saturday. It is alleged that Mbese was thrown out of the Polo they were travelling in and died instantly. A female passenger she was with sustained serious injuries and had to be rescued. She was then taken to Pelonomi Hospital. University spokesperson Lacea Loader says Mbese was a performing student and was busy with her Honours degree at the department of Anthropology. “The University would like to pass on our condolonces to the family, friends and the students community during this very difficult time,” says Loader A case of manslaughter is being investigated, says police spokesperson Chaka Marope.
