Ubizo Edutainment is a Non-Profit Organization(NPO) aimed at exposing learners from disadvantaged communities to significant art forms, also assisting them with academic work. It aims to equip our learners with all the tools they need to realise their calling in life, hence we are called "The Calling".
Researchers in South Africa conducted research around education system and outcomes were as follows, our education system is failing to provide all necessary skills to learners that they need in order to develop themselves. Furthermore, learners from underdeveloped communities, also with parents who unable to afford to give them better education are the most to be affected by system in these communities.
The Calling intends to close the gaps that our education system is striving to close by providing the following progammes below:
1. ARTS - which covers areas such as Music, Dance & Drama
2.Academics - Which covers tutoring classes in Science, Math, Commercial, computer lessons and languages.
However, Ubizo does not only offer those programmes, it also has professional nurses, social workers, Fitness trainers, including teachers in ensuring that learners that are registering with the organization will be prepared for the progammes, providing support socially and offer First Aid training to them as well. Thus, organization is making sure learners will be assisted so that they can be able to cope with stress at school and at home.
In addition, our organization also aims to provide guidance to our Grade 9s,in choosing suitable subjects for Grade 10 and assist Matriculants in career advice. All necessary resources for them to enroll at Universities of their choice will given to them.
Ubizo is calling all stakeholders who would love to see this initiative grow, offer assistance and be part of and most importantly bring children from foundation phase till Matric to come enroll with us.
