Makgotso Lekganyane (20), a Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSocSci) student at the University of the Free State (UFS), has been selected as mentor at CampusKey Bloemfontein. As the leading provider of secure student accommodation, CampusKey’s model has been developed with the well-being of their students in mind.   Currently in her third year, Lekganyane was born and raised in Polokwane. “I completed my schooling at Pepps Polokwane Preparatory School and College and now find myself in the vibrant city of Bloemfontein. My majors are Political Science and Anthropology,” she says.   As a mentor, Lekganyane’s responsibilities will include hosting social events that can benefit both students and the community as well. “My responsibilities are to plan and execute events which will cater to the needs of every student at CampusKey, as well as our surrounding communities. My objective is that these events should not only be fun and enjoyable, but memorable as well. I’d also like to bring more people together and get them to attend the events. I honestly believe the more the merrier!” Lekganyane adds with a smile.   She explains that CampusKey not only offers premium student accommodation. “It’s a community, a home away from home and a place where you not only make friends but family. It’s so unique and different and the events bring us together as students.”   Lekganyane’s hobbies include doing make-up, drawing, watching television and YouTube videos. “Most importantly, I enjoy spending quality time with my loved ones. Finding a balance between studies is all about time management. This year, I’d like to be more focused in order to complete my studies as well as manage time well so that I can plan great events.”   She concludes: “My studies are very important to me and staying on track has been a great achievement. CampusKey has allowed me to stay focused whilst also having fun, so I’d recommend it. There's never a dull moment with so many events and opportunities on offer. I can promise students that their experience at CampusKey will be wonderful, enabling them to become the best version of themselves.”   While focused on offering ‘comfort, convenience and community’, CampusKey offers locations throughout South Africa, including Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Potchefstroom, Pretoria and Stellenbosch.   Visit www.campuskey.co.za or phone 0861-STUDENT for more info.
